This role involves overseeing and managing various aspects of social value delivery across the region, ensuring consistency throughout projects using best practices in social value.

We are seeking an individual who shares our passion for the projects we deliver and the impact we can have on the communities we work in, while thriving in a fun and hardworking team environment. Previous experience in construction social value delivery for a main contractor in a similar role is preferable, but we are open to applications from the education, training, employment, and third sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in meetings related to project bids and proposals.
- Provide bid support and create project social value plans to enhance social value within projects.
- Engage in interviews related to project selection or assessment.
- Collaborate with clients to discuss social value objectives and progress.
- Oversee the implementation of social value initiatives and track their impact.
- Establish and review client reporting mechanisms, ensuring accurate data collection.
- Promote social value achievements through marketing and public relations efforts.
- Provide guidance and support to champions executing social value activities.
- Verify the accuracy and consistency of project-related information.
- Report project progress to Regional Directors, providing updates on social value performance.
- Develop and implement regional social value strategies.
- Encourage suppliers and contractors to participate in social value initiatives to ensure supply chain buy-in.
- Actively contribute to social value outcomes within projects and across regions.
- Participate in framework/local authority social value meetings and workshops, collaborating with external stakeholders.
- Organise events (e.g., charity events, meet the buyer) that contribute to social value.
Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Highly competent in MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint, including presentation skills).
- Comprehensive understanding of social value, including alignment with frameworks and standards, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and implementation, monitoring and reporting, promotion and advocacy, and continuous improvement.
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
- Full UK driving licence.
